Platform Guide

1. Getting Started
Creating Your Account
Sign up at thetradetalk.com and choose your account type during onboarding. Business accounts can create organizations, manage teams, and discover influencers. Influencer accounts can set up service catalogs and receive orders.
Setting Up Your Organization
After signing up as a business, create your first organization. Add team members using invite codes, set up your brand kit, and configure your organization profile.
Discovering Influencers
Browse public creator profiles by category and platform, and compare disclosed follower and engagement metrics. Business accounts can review a creator profile and create an order where their account permissions allow it.
2. Workspace Availability
Collaboration workspaces
Use order and recruitment workspaces to manage collaborations.
3. Orders & Payments
Creating an Order
Create an order with a creator, deliverables, compensation, platform, and deadline. Review the proposed terms and sign the required contract before progressing to the actions available for that order.
Order Timeline
The order workspace shows its current stage, contract, payment records, deliverables, and review actions. Cash and barter orders can have different payment requirements; follow the actions available for the specific order.
Payment Processing
Razorpay checkout collects eligible order payments. Review payment records and signed order terms for the status of each collaboration.
4. Platform Architecture
Real-Time Backend
Supported workspace queries subscribe to Convex updates while connected. External social metrics, exchange rates, and payment statuses depend on provider syncs and may require refreshes; check the timestamps and status shown on each screen.
Authentication
Authentication and session identity are handled by WorkOS AuthKit. Sensitive Convex functions also enforce authenticated identity and resource-level authorization; see the public security evidence page for scope and assurance gaps.
